Oxenhope CC 1st XI 334 all out Lost to Triangle 1st XI 377 for 9.
Another high scoring encounter at Triangle saw Oxenhope just lose out by 43 runs chasing a massive 377 total. The home side batted first and runs came all down the order top scorers being Christian Silkstone (74) Chris Metcalf(60) and Carl Fletcher (62) . The Oxenhope bowlers stuck to their task and Joel Fothergill was rewarded with 3 wickets & Liam Dyson with 4 in his 19 over spell. In a similar vein the Oxenhope team made contributions right down the order with Chris Kibble (32) & Eddie Jackson (83) getting the innings off to a great start . Tom Mawer(41), Lewis Hopkinson(24) & Bonny Fielden (44) kept the chase going before captain Josh Tetley continued his improved run of form with a fine knock of 70 to put the visitors in with a chance of a remarkable victory . An earlier injury to the inform Duncan Tetley prevented him from batting and that left the chase just 43 runs short .

Oxenhope 2nd Xi came out comfortable victors in the relegation tussle that now leaves them 9 points clear of the drop zone. Batting first the Oxenhope innings was dominated by a superb cultured century from Craig Bartlett (105) . Luke Fleetwood with45 at the top of the order & Spencer Hurd with 37 not out guided them to a total of 254 in the 45 allotted overs. The visitors never really put themselves in with a chance of overtaking the total other than when Mohammed Usman was at the wicket hitting 45 with 5 sixes in brisk time. Despite the best efforts of Hamzah Khan (38 for 3) an outright victory never looked possible but the 10 point win may yet be significant at the end of the season.
